Each week  covers a different topic in yogic philosophy and includes a sun salutation warm up, a Kundalini yoga kriya
(set), and a meditation.


Children's Yoga

Classes for toddlers, pre-school students, school-aged children, and families are available in Dutchess, Orange,
Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan & Ulster Counties.

Infant and toddler sessions are theme oriented yoga classes that incorporate music, singing, story telling, nursery rhymes,
puppets, and prop use.  School aged classes introduce age appropriate yoga poses, (individual, partner and group poses),
breathing and relaxation techniques, yoga chants, yoga activities, and games.

Carrie Ward Kelly

Carrie Ward Kelly is a certified Kundalini yoga instructor who has been practicing yoga for over 8 years.  Carrie has
studied under a variety of teachers, including Dr. Hari Simran Singh Khalsa, Gururattan Kaur Khalsa, Ph.D., and Doreen
Foxwell, founder of The Children’s School of Yoga.  Carrie is also studying Andean Shamanic practices with Eileen O’
Hare and is learning spiritual rituals of the Q’ero of Peru.  Carrie currently teaches adult and children’s yoga throughout
the Hudson Valley.

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful tool for people to get in touch with their bodies, learn to breathe, and gain a level of deep
meditation and relaxation and I am excited to be able to share this technology with others.  As an instructor, my philosophy
of teaching is that anyone can do yoga and benefit – regardless of age, body type, disability, or fitness level.  My goal is to
make everyone feel welcome and encouraged to do what they can while honoring the limits of their bodies.
